The Atlanta Falcons have traded inside LB Deion Jones to the Cleveland Browns, the teams announced this news on Monday.

The Atlanta Falcons will also send its 2024 7th-round pick to Cleveland in exchange for Cleveland's 2024 6th-round pick.

Initially chosen in the 2nd round (52nd in general) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of LSU, Deion Jones was in his 7th season in Atlanta.

Deion Jones recorded 650 total tackles (428 solos), 40 tackles for loss, 11 interceptions, 8.5 sacks and 5 defensive touchdowns throughout his career.

Deion Jones had not shown up on the active roster this season subsequent to being put on the IR on September 1st.

Atlanta Falcons presently has 5 inside LB on its active roster – Nick Kwiatkoski, Troy Andersen, Nathan Landman, Mykal Walker and Rashaan Evans.
