American Journalist Katie Couric revealed she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer after missing her regular Mammogram (Breast X-ray)

Katie Couric, a former co-anchor of National Broadcasting Company. She used to host NBC's "TODAY" show.

Journalist Katie Couric underwent surgery and radiation treatment this summer of 2022 to treat the tumor.

She was tested for colon cancer on the “Today” show in 2000 and She announced her diagnosis in an essay on her website, saying she hoped it would encourage other women to be tested.

65-year-old Katie Couric was diagnosed on the first day of summer and She said, she had her final radiation treatment on Tuesday.

Couric said, “My left breast does feel like I've been sunbathing topless, but other than that, I've felt fine”.

Her first husband, Jay Monahan, died of colon cancer in 1998 at the age of 41 and her sister Emily was 54 when she died of pancreatic cancer in 2001. 

Couric underwent surgery on July 14 and began radiation on September 7. Her last session was on Tuesday.
