Pauline Amelinckx of Bohol and Krishnah Gravidez of Baguio, meanwhile, will be crowned in separate ceremonies.

Christine Opiaza of Zambales came in as the first runner-up, and Angelique Manto of Pampanga came in as the second runner-up.

During the two rounds of questions and answers, Dee was asked about what the country could do to close the gap between the rich and the poor.

The former Miss World Philippines says that the best way to solve the problem is through education.

When asked what she thought of the new phrase for the Tourism Department, she said that Filipinos were the "best we could offer in the world."
