Amazon made it's streaming debut of Thursday Night Football.

It's a join venture of Amazon and NFL

Initially the broadcast was slated to begin in 2023 but later it moved to the 2022 season.

The first match was between Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

The Los Angeles Chargers went into the AFC West confrontation riding a two-game series of wins in Kansas City, however, their favorable luck finished for the current year.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a gritty performance.

The victory earned the Chiefs their fifth 2-0 start in the last six seasons. Mahomes improved his career record to 22-3 versus AFC West opponents.
