Chesapeake Jubilee 2023

This weekend marks the start of the Chesapeake Jubilee 2023 celebration. This weekend, there will be a big party in Chesapeake.

At the Chesapeake City Park, the festivities for the weekend, which will be filled with food, music, and entertainment, begin on Thursday.

The Chesapeake Jubilee arrives in the city on Thursday, May 18, promising a weekend of new entertainment, attractions, and family fun for all ages.

Chesapeake's carnival returned last year after two years. Organizers are working hard to improve this year's Jubilee.

A news statement says that this year, the Jubilee will bring the "World of Wonders" show to the city.

It will feature a number of exciting acts, like sword swallowers and fire eaters, among other things.

This year will be the first time that Hot Dog Pig Races and Texas Tommy's Wild West Review show will be at the Jubilee.

The Jubilee's executive director, Stephanie Welke, said, "We explored the country for new performers to round out our lineup this year."

The release says that "Amusements of America" will be back to run the circus midway at the Jubilee.
