Bronny James, the oldest son of LeBron James and a player for the Los Angeles Lakers, had a cardiac arrest on Monday. He is currently in stable condition.

In a statement, a representative for the James family said that Bronny James had a heart attack “yesterday while practicing.” Medical professionals attended to Bronny before taking him to the hospital. He is currently stable and no longer needs to be in the ICU. We request privacy and courtesy for the James family, and we will tell the media as soon as new details become available.

Damar Hamlin, a safety for the Buffalo Bills, expressed his support for James after recovering from a heart collapse during a “Monday Night Football” game last season.
James, who is 18 years old and about to start his first year at USC, is placed 20th in the 2023 ESPN 100. He is the class of 2023’s sixth-rated point guard.

The USC men’s basketball team was getting ready to travel the following week for an exhibition trip to Croatia and Greece when James was scheduled to start his collegiate career abroad.
According to NCAA regulations, USC was given an additional 10 practice days to get ready for the exhibition tour, which will feature several games in Athens, Mykonos, and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
