A source close to the pair tells that Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and his partner Lauren Sanchez are engaged.

It was not immediately possible to obtain any additional information about the proposal or the upcoming wedding.
The couple’s relationship was first made public in 2019, when Bezos and Sánchez, a former broadcast journalist who is now a philanthropist, announced it. Except for being photographed at several events, Bezos and Sánchez have kept most aspects of their relationship private since they started dating.
The pair gave their first combined sit-down interview to CNN in 2022 while chatting in their Washington, DC, home. In the interview, they discussed their charitable efforts to carefully donate Bezos’s enormous riches to a range of causes.
When it comes to their humanitarian endeavors, Sánchez told CNN that they make “really great teammates,” adding with a chuckle that they can sometimes be “kind of boring.”
The Emmy-winning journalist was further praised by Jeff Bezos, who called her “an inspiration” and claimed she was “the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet.”
A 2021 trip into space and back on Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket included the wealthy founder of the space enterprise.

Sánchez, a former helicopter pilot, said on CNN that she also has ambitions to travel to space in the upcoming years and that she will be accompanied by “a great group of females.”
Bezos has four children from a prior 25-year marriage to MacKenzie Scott. Sánchez was previously married for 13 years to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell until formally divorcing him in 2019. Sánchez has three children from prior relationships.
