Ryuchell was found dead

Although the 27-year-old’s cause of death has not yet been determined, authorities stated they are looking into the possibility that they committed suicide.

In 2016, Ryuchell wed Peco, a fellow model, and the two welcomed a kid.

After Ryuchell stated they no longer identified as men in August 2022, the pair filed for divorce, drawing harsh condemnation online.

Ryuchell stated they will continue to live with Peco and their son in the Instagram post.

However, a lot of people criticized the celebrity’s decision to come out and claimed that he was a bad father. In a YouTube video with Peco in February, Ryuchell defended her ex-husband and stated that she was there to help them as they figured out their sexuality.

Ryuchell sprang to prominence as an LGBT icon in Japan and was well-known for its genderless garb. They were the targets of various online social harassment campaigns as they rose in fame, which mostly targeted their personal lives and gender nonconformity.
